A dancer and choreographer 100 years old Australian woman, who will star in the show titled 'The Early Ones'
Eileen Kramer plans to appear at the Independent Theatre Sydney, next month, with a new show, The Early Ones.
Actually it was quite late when I first entered the world of dance, ie at the age of 24 years, but he vividly remembers when he started dancing addiction.
"It was the opening of the 'Blue Danube Waltz' ... They open up like this and look up," Eileen story depicting the opening scene.
"So at that time I fell in love," he continued.
He then joined the dance group 'Bodenweiser & rsquo, the first group of modern contemporary Australia, and around the world, including South Africa and India.
Having served 20 years in the United States, Eileen decided to return to Australia last year, at the age of 99 years.
"I want to hear 'kookaburra' (traditional Aboriginal musical instrument). I want to smell the trees 'eucalyptus'," north.
Since returning, Eileen has appeared in the video clip for musicians Lacey Cole and was inspired to create the show 'The Early Ones' after receiving sponsorship from the National Institutes of Health and the Arts Foundation of Arthur Boyd.
Fellow dancer, Anya McKee and Patrick Harding-Irmer, say, in collaboration with Eileen has always been an amazing experience.
"He was quite an inspiration and he is also deeply rooted in the history of modern dance in this country," said Anya.
"He is a good creative spirit and also has a body that is still really excellent although 100 years old, so the idea of calling for a stop dancing in the 30s - like me - or 40s, and the idea to finish everything before that age, does not apply anymore, "he said.
Patrick, the 60s years, said there was no reason or complaints in the studio when there Eileen there.
"I sometimes used to being the oldest person in the studio but working with Eileen, he was certainly a more mature person and I respect his experience," he said.
Eileen has maintained top quality creative work, which includes making costumes.
He even has created a new form of costume for himself, after losing sight in one eye.
"I call it minimal expressionism. Mostly I get up and dance," Eileen prominent.
Online fundraising campaign was also carried out to help create the show and support Eillen, who is currently staying in a hostel for people at risk of homelessness.
"Currently, I live in a very nice place. I am an independent tenants but the space is not big," said Eileen.
And for those who are interested in long-lived and healthy lifestyle mimic Eileen, this old woman has some simple advice.
"Try to do creative work, because if you're dealing with creative work, you are doing something new all the time," he said.
