Facebook, Mother's Help Find The Missing son 20 Years Ago,. Twenty years have passed since Margaretta Evans heard about his son, Jason. One day in June 1995, Jason, that when it was 18 years old, told his mother that he wanted to follow the summer tour of the Grateful Dead, an American rock band. And since his departure, Jason never returned home.

Jason turned out to be the victim of a car accident in Virginia that occurred 20 years ago. At that time, no one can identify Jason.

"I have been looking for him all this time and never found it. Today, my other son saw this Facebook page, and after years of waiting for Jason to return or just giving the news ..."

After two decades disappeared, Evans finally know what happened to her son.


Amateur detective has a much longer history than waiting Evans. But recently, an inquiry by the volunteers on the internet increasingly appreciated. Experts begin to think about the possibilities of how this amateur detectives can help authorities better.

In Britain, a group of forensic education has made plans to hold an online class on how to solve a case. And police in some areas said that netizens can sometimes help them to find clues to solve a case.

"Some of the police would appreciate any help that can be given. While some others hate us," said Tricia Griffith, an owner of websleuth.com, a detective who has been running a forum for a long time.
